I'm happy to announce that, as of midnight, RIT Surround Sound officially has three new members: Shaun Paduano, Gabriel Marcano, and Josiah Stoner! Congratulations, all of you.
I'm really looking forward to what we're going to accomplish this year, and I'm glad we're starting it off on a good note. Stay tuned to the website for more details on upcoming performances.

Hey guys! Any prospective members looking to spend a little more time with us should stop by University Commons 238 to have pasta night with us this Sunday evening at 7PM! We'll have a spaghetti dinner and watch a movie! (Perhaps some video games?)
Surround Sound wants to get to know you, so we hope to see you there!

Hey all! Maybe you've seen us at the club fair, or picked up a business card, or heard about us through word of mouth. In any event, all the groups on campus are looking for new members, and we've got the info on Rush Week events and tryout times. If you're at all interested, email director@ritsurroundsound.org and we'll send you a schedule, or you can simply stop by RIT Singers, Thursday from 7-9pm in the SAU basement Music Room. All the groups will be showing off their music, and we'll be holding a round of auditions afterwards. Look forward to seeing you all there!

It's that time of year again; with the graduation of our older members, Surround Sound is in need of new talent (and new friends :/ ). If you are an RIT student looking to join an a cappella group, be sure to attend the first few RIT Singers rehersals, where we'll give out dates for rush week events (We do pasta night! It's delicious!) and hold tryouts afterwards. I'll remember to post more info up here when we actually get these events planned.
RIT Singers rehersals are Thursdays from 7-9. It is strongly recommended that, unless you have a conflicting class, you try and make it to Singers. You don't need to be signed up for the class, although if you're going to be there anyway, might as well get an extra credit.

Good news, everyone! We've been invited to sing at To Be Announced's 5th annual Spring Show on April 5th, at 7:00pm. TBA is a mixed a cappella group from University of Toronto with a great repertoire of contemporary music. Check out their site here: http://tba.sa.utoronto.ca/ We can't wait!

Holy cow, everyone.
We'd like to thank all of our devoted and new-found fans for coming out to the show and making it at least three times bigger than last year's! We hope everyone in the audience had as much fun as we did, and we look forward to more performances as the year dies down. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for news of our future exploits; expect them to be just as fabulous!
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful guest groups for helping us put on such an amazing show. Significant quantities of talent came to us by the carload, and without them we would not have had nearly the show we did. Cornell Chordials and Syracuse Mandarins, our hats are off to you.
And one more thing (this is it, I swear); we'd like to assure you once again that certain songs will not be resurfacing at any time in the future. If you didn't come to the show, you missed your only chance.
But anyway, what a night! Thanks again to everyone!
