A History of what we are...
RAM
These are about the days gone by. The days that the few of us remember, and the many of us want to see.
We have come a long way from where we started.
We were once a group called Random Acts of Music back in 2001. We were about two to five people. It was basically whoever showed up at the time and we sang for whoever wanted to listen. Do not ask us about that time. It was far too dark and too shallow. It never happened.
Surround Sound Rising
Surround Sound started in 2002. We were formed by the people that did not get into Brick City Singers and 8 Beat Measure. In those days, we laid down our our own very special Barbershop roots. We now do various arrangements from today's new hits to the oldies like Van Morrison, however, we would never feel at home if we dropped those roots.
Today, the group is old enough to have a substantial number of almuni. Every year at our Show, we invite those alum back to sing with us. This group has brought us all together as friends. Friends that make awesome music.
